Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name], [registered address], which runs Yours Honestly. By creating an account or paying for a service, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy. Partner organisations are covered by a separate written agreement.

2. Who can join

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally free to marry. [Confirm wording with your lawyer.]
• You may have only one profile, and it must be about you. A parent or relative can help, but the answers must be the member’s own.
• Keep your login details private. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Honest answers

• Every question in the questionnaire is required.
• Answer truthfully. The person you’re considering will be asked to answer truthfully too, and their decisions will rely on your answers.
• Answers lock once you submit them and can’t be edited. To change anything, you would delete your profile and join again with a different email address.
• If we find a profile is false or misleading, we may remove its verification or close the account.

4. What “verified” means

“Verified, Yours Honestly” means our AI has assessed your answers and our team has reviewed the result. It is not a background check, identity check, criminal-record check, or a medical or psychological diagnosis, and no psychologist reviews your profile when you join. It reflects what you told us, and can’t guarantee how anyone will behave.

5. Your YH code and reports

• Your YH code is permanent. Anyone you give it to can run a compatibility report with you, so share it only with people you’re seriously considering.
• You’re told every time your code is used, including by a partner organisation.
• A compatibility report has a general reading and astrology guna milan. It is guidance to help you talk and decide. The decision to marry is always yours.
• Don’t publish or circulate someone else’s report or biodata without their permission.

6. The AI chat

The chat answers questions about a person using only their verified profile and our findings. It never reveals private answers and doesn’t predict the future. It can be wrong, so use it alongside your own judgement and time spent getting to know someone.

7. Membership and autopay

• Membership costs ₹2,499 a month [inclusive of GST / plus GST] and includes everything listed on our website.
• You pay by autopay through Razorpay. Your membership renews every month until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from your dashboard. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• If a payment fails, reports and chat pause until your membership is active again. Your profile isn’t deleted.
• We’ll tell you by email at least [30] days before any price change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
• Coupon codes apply only as stated in the offer.

8. Expert evaluations

• Psychologist evaluation: ₹5,999 per compatibility report. A professional psychologist reviews the report and holds a call with you. You book and pay on our Razorpay payment page.
• Astrology evaluation: the price is confirmed on a call before anything is charged.
• Evaluations are optional and for guidance only. They are not therapy, medical advice or emergency support. If you ever feel unsafe, call 112, or 181 (Women Helpline).

9. Refunds and cancellation

• Membership: cancel any time and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund part-months already paid for.
• Psychologist evaluation: full refund if you cancel at least [24] hours before your scheduled call. If we can’t deliver the evaluation, we refund you in full.
• Astrology evaluation: full refund if you cancel before the evaluation begins. If we can’t deliver it, we refund you in full.
• Wrong or duplicate charges are always refunded in full.
• Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within [5–7] working days.
• To ask for a refund, write to [support email] with your registered email and payment reference.

10. How services are delivered

All our services are delivered online. Nothing is shipped. Your verified profile is usually ready within [X working days] of submitting your answers. Psychologist and astrology calls are scheduled with you after booking, usually within [X working days].

11. Using Yours Honestly fairly

You agree not to create a fake or duplicate profile, use someone else’s code without their permission, harass, threaten or deceive anyone you meet through Yours Honestly, copy or scrape content, or try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours.

12. Our content

The Yours Honestly name, logo, questionnaire, personality types and report formats belong to us. Your biodatas and reports are yours to use for finding a partner. You give us permission to use your answers only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

13. Ending your account

You can delete your profile at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it.

14. Limits of what we promise

We work hard to make every assessment careful and fair, but we can’t promise that a match will succeed or that anyone will behave as their profile suggests. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any complaint with our Grievance Officer first (see Contact and grievances). Courts in [city] have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

16. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email before the change takes effect.
